Why am I redirected differently after each login?
You have the ability to choose which page you will be redirected to after a successful login. This setting can be changed form the members panel homepage. If you have not already changed your login settings, you will automatically be redirected to the last page you were viewing on most cases. We hope that you will try and grow to love this one of a kind feature on our site.
Can I change my username?
Yes, however, it can only be changed every thirty days. To change your username, visit the Personal Details section in the members panel.
How old do I have to be to register?
The minimum age for completing registration is 14 years of age. Users under this age cannot register. Users who are over 14 but are under the age of 18 are placed in the underage user category. They are restricted from participating in any site function requiring payment.
What are site connections?
By forming a connection, users will have the ability to send one another private messages, to post on bulletin boards, and to easily keep track of each other in the members panel. A user can initiate a connection through the link on another user's About-Me page.
What is the membership level system?
Members with an upgraded account can participate in the member level system. The member level system places an icon beside the member's username where displayed throughout the site to represent his or her level of aviation experience. The icon is in the shape of an epaulet with the number of stripes increasing with the user's level of experience.
Why can I not find a link to add a listing?
You must be logged into your account before links will be revealed to add or edit any content; content meaning a job listing, blog, forum topic, or product for example. If you are currently logged in and are still unable to access a certain feature, your account may be suspended due to a lack of payment. Underage users are also prohibited from using certain site features and therefore will not see links to use those features.
How do I report abuse?
You can make a general abuse report in the members panel. To report a more detailed description of a buying or selling related issued, you can follow the appropriate link on the abuse reporting page.
Can I retract a bid on an auction?
On the seller can retract a bid. This can be done by following the bid history link on the auction details page. If you are a buyer and wish to have a bid removed, you should send a request to the seller. However, the seller is under no obligation to fulfill the request and may not have time to do so before the auction ends.
Can I sell an item at a fixed price?
Yes, you can place an item for sale at a fixed price by setting the starting price equal to the Buy-It-Now price. This will disallow bidding on your item and offer it for immediate sale with the Buy-It-Now feature. Items listed in seller stores or as a digital listing are always sold at a fixed price.
What is a digital listing?
Digital listings are used to sell files that can be downloaded by the buyer. Sellers upload or link to a file when creating the item listing so that buyers can immediately download it after a purchase is made. Payment made through a direct payment method will allow for immediate downloads. If a conventional payment method is used, such as by check or money order, the seller must manually activate the download by marking the invoice as "paid."
Can I cancel an open auction?
Auctions with bids can be ended early by the seller if the auction is not in the final 12 hours of closing. You will be allowed to enter a reason for ending the item which we will share with each bidder automatically through email. If you are selling at a fixed price or your auction does not bids placed, you will be able to remove it at any time.
How do I post an aviation job listing?
Only a member with a company account can create job listings. Anyone can create a free company account by providing a company name during registration or by modifying your personal details to include your company's name. To change your user details, login and proceed to the personal details section of the members panel.
Do you offer free aviation job listings?
One free job listing is allowed at a time. If a second listing is added, the member is charged a flat fee. A fee notice message will be displayed to you before any charge is applied. Additional listing features may be applied to a job listing at any time. Fees for these features can be found on the site fees page or while managing job listings.
What types of application methods are provided?
The default application method is to use the built in features of the site to collect applications and allow the company to manage applications through his or her account. The company may choose to use a different method for collecting applications. The company may choose to show his or her contact information directly on site. The company's name, email address, and street address will be provided to each applicant. Another method the company may choose is to provide their own web address for submitting applications. In this case, an applicant on the site will be directed to follow the company's link to apply.
